AX3® Bio-Pure Astaxanthin is a bioavailable formulation of pure astaxanthin encapsulated in vegetarian capsules. AX3 contains the following ingredients:

Astaxanthin Formulation

• Astaxanthin (active ingredient)
• Modified Food Starch* (promotes bioavailability)
• Glucose Syrup* (promotes bioavailability)
• Sodium Ascorbate (preserves freshness)
• DL-alpha-Tocopherol (preserves freshness)

To promote bioavailability, astaxanthin is finely dispersed in a matrix of modified food starch and glucose syrup; to preserve freshness, DL-alpha-tocopherol (Vitamin E) and sodium ascorbate (Vitamin C) are added as sacrificial antioxidants to protect astaxanthin from oxygen in the air.

*Negligible amounts compared to normal dietary consumption. The amount per serving (i.e., in each capsule) of these ingredients is negligible compared to the starch and sugar content one may consume through the diet, with less than 0.2 grams of modified food starch and less than 0.05 grams of glucose syrup per serving.
